The Second KAIZEN Award Ceremony.
The Second KAIZEN Award Ceremony to be held on 20th October, 2016:
The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (MITI) in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has been implementing a three years and 9 months KAIZEN Project, namely “Project on Strengthening Manufacturing Enterprises through Quality and Productivity Improvement (KAIZEN)” since April 2013. Simply said, KAIZEN refers to practice of continuous improvement of quality and productivity. After over three years of implementation of the project, MITI in collaboration with JICA will organize the second KAIZEN Award Ceremony to selected manufacturing enterprises implementing this initiative on 20th October, 2016 from 8:30 am to 14:30 pm at Lamada Hotel (Phone: 022 220 3134). Similarly, KAIZEN Master Trainers who proved to be superior in imparting to our stakeholders the concept would be awarded in the said ceremony. KAIZEN Strategy and Action Plans of KAIZEN Methodology will be launched as an official document of MITI at the ceremony. Thus, this press release is intended to announce the ceremony, achievement of the project so far, and future plans. Honorable Minister Charles Mwijage (MP), H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan, Mr. Masaharu Yoshida, Permanent Secretary, Dr. Adelhem Meru, JICA Chief Representative, Mr. Toshio Nagase are scheduled to illustrate the ceremony.
